Pempoull Daniel Gîtes 'Terms & Conditions', legally binds the persons intending to occupy the premises whether or not such persons have signed the booking form. You confirm acceptance of the following:
 
The Property is offered as a holiday rental subject to confirmation by the Pempoull Daniel Gîtes. 
 
BOOKINGS
Bookings can be made via the internet, telephone or fax when and where availability is advised. Provisional bookings can be taken over the telephone but must be confirmed by receipt of a completed and signed booking form and deposit payment details within seven working days. Additional costs may be incurred if there are any changes to the booking after written confirmation of the booking is sent out to you. Any changes to the party size or members specified on the booking form, even if within the capacity of the property, must be agreed and be confirmed in advance and in writing.
 
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit (a quarter of the total rental) should accompany the booking form if booked more than 6 weeks prior the start of the holiday. The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the holiday.

For deposits and balances we accept debit cards, credit cards and UK Cheque. For security reasons, Pempoull Daniel Gîtes do not accept debit / credit card details electronically. Pempoull Daniel Gîtes will telephone, at a convenient time chosen by the Client, to take card details. Once processed, a copy of the debit / credit card receipt will be sent first class with a confirmation letter.
  
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit cheque of £100 will be held in the event of excess cleaning costs, significant breakages or damage. This deposit shall not limit the Client's liability to the owners. Security cheques will not be cashed until after the holiday and without prior notification.
 
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
The balance should be paid in full no less than 6 weeks before the start of the rental. If payment is not received by the due date, Pempoull Daniel Gîtes has the right to give notice of the reservation being cancelled. The Client is liable to pay the balance in full. 
 
AMENDMENTS & SPECIAL REQUESTS
Amendments and special requests must be notified to us in writing otherwise we will not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions on our part.
 
LATE PAYMENTS
If the unconditional payment of the balance is not received by the due date, Pempoull Daniel Gîtes reserve the right to cancel the booking, forfeit any deposit made and levy a cancellation charge as though there had been a cancellation as defined in the cancellation terms below.

CONFIRMATION
A booking will only be deemed to have been confirmed after receipt of either the completed booking form and / or the appropriate initial payment. Written confirmation will be issued after the booking form has been checked and approved.
 
CANCELLATION
All cancellations of confirmed bookings must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges apply as appropriate:

EARLY DEPARTURE
There are no refunds for premature departure.
 
INSURANCE
Clients are advised to cover themselves with the appropriate travel insurance for the period of the holiday. We suggest that guests take out holiday insurance to cover any loss of deposit or balance due to unforeseen circumstances.
 
PASSPORT / VISA / HEALTH CERTIFICATE
These requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents. It is essential that customers ensure they hold a valid ten year passport.
 
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
The premises will be available for occupation from 4pm of the first day of the rental period and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Early arrivals must be authorised by Pempoull Daniel Gîtes. Rentals are usually Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise arranged with Pempoull Daniel Gîtes.
 
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PERSONS PER GÎTES
Numbers must not exceed gîtes as follows:
The Nook                 3 Adults, 1 Infant
The Lodge               7 Adults, 1 Infant
The Homestead     11 Adults, 2 Infants

Pets are not allowed.   
  
CAMPING
Camping either in the garden or fields surrounding the property either in tent, caravan or mobile home is strictly prohibited. Any permission given will be at the discretion of Pempoull Daniel Gîtes.

HEALTH & SAFETY
For the health and safety purposes, all gîtes, communal laundry areas, workshops and garages are strictly non-smoking areas - Clients are welcome to smoke in the garden and on the terraces but not in the pool area. Receptacles are provided for cigarette and cigar ends.

All clients must adhere to the rules and regulations of the premises. Misuse or misconduct may result in the prohibiting of access (i.e. swimming pool, hot tub, children’s play area, terraces, communal laundry room, workshop, garages) or being asked to leave the premises, in which case offering no refund.

The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Clients found with such substances will be asked to leave the premises and no refunds will be made. Firearms and weapons are not allowed.

Pempoull Daniel Gîtes cannot accept liability for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery, or appliance in the property or gardens.

Pempoull Daniel Gîtes cannot accept liability for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident or loss on the premises.

Pempoull Daniel Gîtes accept no responsibility and no compensation will be made.
 
FORCE MAJEURE
Pempoull Daniel Gîtes do not accept liability for loss, delay or cancellations due to the following; fire, storm, flood, closure of ports, weather / technical problems to transport, acts of God, industrial disputes, strikes, riots, political unrest, and war or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.
